Mulching
We provide forestry mulching and site clearance covering the whole of the UK, specialising in mulching and/or removal of green waste from construction sites, minor and major developments, heath land, rail and road, amenity and other areas.
Using up to date mulchers and John Deere tractors, 360 degree forestry specification excavators with a range of attachments, including rippers, root rakes and stump splitters. Also a wide range of tracked plant (including cat dozers and tracked dumpers) mean that terrain and weather conditions pose little problem.
Mulching reduces land fill and tipping charges. Tractors are equipped with front end loaders and grabs, and rear mounted mulchers, allowing them to be a versatile unit which works exceptionally well along side one of our 360° excavators. The loader can be used for stringing out lines of timber or moving stumps grubbed out prior to mulching, also for loading felled timber onto lorries if needed.
If nitrogen levels are a consideration, Oakfields have the necessary equipment to set up a mulching lay down' area and haul the timber, stumps and any green waste to one location. This allows mulching to be kept to a confined area and makes it easy to clear the site of any mulched material.
We are environment agency licensed waste carriers.
